Campaign Strategy Update

Wednesday June 22 @ 12:00pm EDT

Unfortunately, a write-in campaign isn't as easy as just writing in a name. In many states write-in candidates must file paperwork to be recognized. We're announcing the first set of states we're focusing on:

  • Colorado: paperwork is due by July 21 and must include elector signatures.
  • Florida: paperwork is due July 12, with elector information due September 1.
  • Indiana: paperwork is due July 5 with the names of electors.
  • Michigan: paperwork is due September 9 along with elector information.
  • New Mexico: paperwork is due June 30, with names of electors.
  • .

The filings for each of these states also require the name of a vice presidential candidate as well, which makes choosing a VP a priority as well. If you know of someone who would make a great vice president on the NOTA ticket, please use the button below to nominate them.

If you are a registered voter in any of these priority states or know of someone who may be interested, please use the "Volunteer" button below to get in touch. In order to have our NOTA votes counted, the paperwork must be complete.

To get an overview of all the states and their paperwork requirements, please visit the "Vote" page. Additional details can be found by clicking on the name of a state.
